"Julie, you can't do everything. You need to take care of yourself, not let yourself get overloaded. Let people help; let me help. Figure out what is most important and let go of the rest."
Somebody told me that one of an arrogant is who won't to asked for a help from other..but,...i'm still a kind of human who really want to do all of my duties, tasks and all my stuffs without bother anyone else. I think they have their own trouble and won't to add to them. .hahaha..and i think it's better if i help them, instead of getting help.
What do you think? Am i quite arrogant? How about you?
"As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler."

Anyone who reads this is a book lover?
The book that i mean could be comic, novel.
I love to read and sometimes buy 2-4 books in one time and stuck with how to finish them all. hahahha .... and 'til one day thought that i have to read all the books that i've bought because won't be a Tsundoku.
So, I made a target for every book and finish them one by one.
One of my favorite is Detective Conan comic that i collect since i was on elementary school until now. I think that is a rich comic. Not only laugh i get, but also I can get so many knowledge. What's your favourite?
PS:
While writing this blog, I still have 2 books to read.

Freecycling

One of the best things about freecycling is that by pulling together in their local communities, people have kept tons of perfectly good, usable stuff out of landfills while at the same time helping their neighbors. That's a win-win scenario.

Everything that we have is entrusted goods. Earn it as much, use it wisely and give it for who needs.
We sometimes count our blessings in things. The truth is one of the greatest blessings we have is our own ability to look beyond ourselves.
My exBoss said that by giving we learn to be not greedy.
and my Grandma also Anne Frank said that "No one has ever become poor by giving"

When People are Gather ...

This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful: in a word, more alive.
-Alice Waters-
Gather is a meeting of people for a particular purpose (source: Oxford Dictionaries).
Nowadays, we can find easily places that can give us a cozy areas and warmth themes for people can stick together and share their thoughts, joys, also sorrows.
Find your good community, as bible says : "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners" (1 Cor 15:33)

I'm happy because i have my new shoes collection / i have branded things / i do always getaway abroad.
Walt Whitman said that Happiness, not in another place but this place. . . not for another hour, but this hour.
Which means that happiness comes from our inside, how we live our every second of breathe with grateful heart, use it carefully.
So, why don't we start to be happy and give our best foe very second we have?

A being is free only when it can determine and limit its activity
_Karl Barth_
Shabbat or Sunday, most of people spend the day as a family time or for refreshing or pause that refreshes (as Bracha Goetz said).
The day becomes the only chance we give ourselves each week to slow down and observe the people and places that are beside us. It provides us with time to more fully appreciate and savor all the blessings and even cnversing with a real live. Give us the time and space to be mindful and observe where we are on our journeys, to reconnect with our purpose.

My "Friend"

"My Friends are A, B, C, X, etc." and they say "I just have 2 friends and also my best friend.
Nowdays, who is your friend?
Is that human or being replaced with gadget, social media, TV shows?
When somebody sticks with his/her "friend", it seemed like he/she's missing out on more and more opportunities to be truly present with one another because of time spent on the internet or media.
It seemed the majority of interactions now consisted of "liking" each other's pictures on various social media accounts, getting update of friend's status.
Mentality, spiritual and physic are getting low from day to another day eventhough looks happy to live it.
Live your reality life truly and live in balance is a key for a better life.
Mellisa Wootan said that "I even became more mature in my spiritual life in the absence of those one thousand voices, an di used this new quiet to draw closer to God."
Draw closer to God makes you and me more stronger to stand firm. I challenge you ! !

Time is preciously. How to appreciate it?
How many of us know this motto: If you're no late you're not Indonesian because majority people in this country can't ontime (or also called: rubber time "Jam Karet")?
and how many of us realized that being on time shows respect and consideration for other people's time and commitments.
For me, better to wait someone than be awaited because one of the best things we can do for other is when we appreciate other's time (thing that can't be seen, can't be retrack, but can be feeled and so precious). When we appreciate other's time, we're also appreciate the person.

Minimalism vs Simplicity
All You Need Is Less _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul
25.08.20
Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful.
John Maeda
When we crave simplicity, we are not after an easier life. We are after life.
Dave Bruno
It is not a daily increase, but a daily decrease. Hack away at the inessentials.
Bruce Lee
Minimalism is not a lack of something. It's simply the perfect amount of something.
Minimalism is a tool to rid of yourself of life's excess in favor of focusing on what's important - so you can find happiness, fulfillment, and freedom.
The Minimalists
Simplicity is the state or quality of being simple.
Minimalism is any design or style in which the simplest and fewest elements are used to create the maximum effect.
Simple living is a minimal, low-consumption way of living sometimes called minimalism.
“Minimal” can be simplistic, but simple is not always minimal.
Which one do we wanna live for?

Hello ....
Is that you whose eyes need one of the most popular beverage these years, to still stare and awake, mm.. and be more productive every day? Let me answer this first with "Yes, it's me. Hahaha".
I love the smell of coffee, and exactly how it produces dopamine for me.
Eventhough i love coffee, i'm grateful for not buying unneccesary also many many things about coffee.
How about you? What's your collection?
_But, different with Terri Guillemets, I orchestrate my afternoon to the tune of coffee._

Another Graduation Day
All You Need Is Less _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul

Are you one of who care enough to just hide the stuff from its bachelor days rather than throwing it all away?
The reasons people hold on so tightly to stuff they don't use is because they think they might need it someday, or because it reminds them of person or a time from their past. Don't you realize that most stuff can be easily and cheaply replaced if you need it and it is quickly forgotten when you put it out of sight.
Just try it !
WHEN did last you feel GRATEFUL ?

Passion is Energy
The Joy of No _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul

Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you "Oprah Winfrey"
Find that one thing that means the most to you personally. Whatever your passion may be, find it out and you'll be able to politely say no for things that not in your area of passion, guilt-free.

My Limit ....
The Joy of No _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul
01.08.20
"I felt good to do good others." and " I was okay with that."
Do you think the same?
I wanna tell you that it was time for change. By being overly generous with your time, not honoring own needs or ourselves. By allowing them (who we help) to become dependent upon our kindness that also means not allowing them to learn to care for themselves.
We can ask they questions once they asked the help form us, such as: "Is this an emergency? Is someone else available to help you? Is this something that can wait?" or maybe "Is this something you could do for yourself?"
By setting a limit, you can live a better life, more balance.
Passionate Life
The Joy of No _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul
30.07.20
Have you ever heard about passion? If you say: "Huh? what's that?" or "Yeah, i've read in some books, but mmm...". Okay, here definition of passion is that i do agree.
Passion is the energy that keeps us going, that keeps us filled with meaning, and happiness and excitement and anticipation.
In order to be really good at passion / something, we have to let other things go, work and focus on it. Life isn't about what the person i want to be, what my parents desired on me, but really about what God wants me to be and fulfills His purpose in me.

What if NO?
The Joy of No _ Based on Chicken Soup for The Soul
28.07.20
Josh Billings said half of the troubles of this life can be traced to saying YES to Quickly and not saying NO soon enough.
Sometimes we think we should be superman / superwoman. We do all things with perfectly by ourselves, without asking for help from anyone. But, it is unhealthy. We have to learn to give ourselves a break because it's absolutely okay to say NO. It's a necessity, because the truth is we can't do it all.
First step is no always easy, but you can do it.It's not always YES, if you could say NO.
YES? No?
